Miracle Kerr, a trailblazing talent agency founder and director, embarked on her mission to diversify Toronto's entertainment scene in 2016 by establishing Miracle Management. A Carleton University alumna in communications and psychology, Kerr leveraged her academic insights and talent agent experience to address the lack of diverse representation in the industry.
As a Filipinx-Canadian, Kerr recognized the need for authentic diasporic depictions in mainstream media. Driven by this, she founded Miracle Management with a focus on championing racialized and marginalised talent, thereby fostering a more inclusive and reflective entertainment industry. Kerr's dedication and hard work quickly transformed her vision into a thriving business, known for nurturing the next generation of diverse talent and amplifying impactful creative projects.
Under Kerr's guidance, Miracle Management has achieved remarkable success, including casting talent in high-profile projects such as: “Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent”, Rachel Morrison’s upcoming directorial debut, “Flint Strong,” and Colman Domingo’s anticipated Netflix conspiracy thriller, “The Madness”. As well as music videos such as the 2021 JUNO award-winning video of the year “No One’s In The Room” by Jessie Reyez, “Adicto” by Tainy, Anuel AA, Ozuna – which garnered over one billion views, and “Stayin’ Alive” by Drake, DJ Khaled, and Lil Baby. Along with commercial clients such as: Apple, Bentley, Nike, and Amazon.
Beyond business achievements, Kerr is a respected mentor and speaker, sharing her expertise and inspiring future creative entrepreneurs at prestigious venues. Her journey exemplifies relentless ambition and a commitment to enriching the entertainment landscape.
