Success within this industry requires you to have the tools for success. This includes professional headshots and a portfolio.
Please be advised that you require professional headshots and portfolio photos to be
successful within the industry. These are key tools to marketing you and your brand to casting directors and clients.
02 Do you see yourself doing this long-term?
This is a long-term career that requires time, energy, and dedication. Patience is a virtue in this industry as long-term success does not happen overnight.
You must be consistent with attending auditions, submitting self-tapes, and building your portfolio and brand. Be prepared for rejection, as it is a part of the job.
03 What is your breadth of work? Are you currently training? What are you doing to build your brand?
A resume of work is essential to marketing you to casting directors and clients. In addition to a resume of work, training is essential to staying at the top of your game.
To build your brand you need to be able to identify why you are different from the others who are in the same field as you, and what the overall goal of your brand is.
04 Have you already invested in yourself, your career, and your brand?
